So Here’s What Happened…
So my blog was hacked… Yep, someone decided it would be lots of fun to break into Unleashed and start deleting important files. Hard as I try, I just cannot seem to imagine deriving any form of enjoyment from destroying other peoples hard work. (Unless of course they cut me off in traffic… Naaah - Not even then!)
Regardless, I had IT logged in yesterday taking care of the site, and rebuilding that all important infrastructure. So we’re not back to 100%, but we’re darn close! Thing is, I felt so bad depriving all of you of this wonderful blog even for a day!
Week is almost over with guys! What have you done to make it great? Don’t dwell on the setbacks, ignore what you think you “don’t want to do” and reset your thought process to make this week great! 2 days is PLENTY of time to make something wonderful happen! Challenge yourself to meet a high producer between now and tomorrow.
Pick up the phone and call some past clients…. Do SOMETHING to make today anything but “ordinary.” Ordinary doesn’t pay!

Mortgage Marketing - Work? What’s That?
I was speaking to a group of about 500 loan officers recently, and I was startled by some of hte murmuring I heard in the audience. I had just detailed a very specific marekting plan that could easily put you in touch with, impress the heck out of, and ultimately build a relationship with the highest producing realtors in your market.
The kicker? This marketing plan could do all of this to multiple agents at once! After I had finished wrapping up the plan, I heard a few people whispering to their neighbors: “Wow - that sounds like alot of work!”
This really got to me. I know it shouldn’t have, but I keep hearing similar phrases from loan officers… The very same loan officers who tell me they are dead broke, and need to make money fast… Yet the one thing they focus on is whether or not something will be a lot of work?
